I will ask for your forgiveness ahead of time as this post is a bit of rant post and I do not want to offend anyone.t have on your
Let me get right to the point, why the hell would you not put your email address on your resume? Seriously, it is 2010 now, get with the times. A lot of recruiters, myself include, are extremely busy and frequently reach out to candidates over email as a way to ask some initial screening questions and to schedule a time to talk further. If you do not include your email address, you may be missing out on being contacted.
This next one is a little more specific to sales people…Why do you not put numbers and accomplishments on your resume. You would be surprised at how many sales people will not include their ranking, or percentage of quota attainment or other measures of success. Here’s the deal, if you do not include achievements on your sales resume you will be screened out immediately. The way I look at it is if there are no numbers on your resume then you probably are a below average rep or just plain stupid, either way it is not good. Again, sorry to be so harsh…Just telling it like it is.

Thanks for sharing this. I should’ve read this before sending my resume to companies.

If you are not intelligent enough to put your email address on your resume, or worse do not have an email address to put on your resume, you definitely do not deserve a shot at getting whatever job it is that you are applying for!
A good post, sad but true.
Great post. Thanks for sharing these information.
