It is one thing to know the questions, but it is more important to know the answers. Interviewing is all about Preparation and Practice. Get a friend or family member to play the role of the interviewer and practice your answers. Each week I will be posting one interview question and more importantly the answer. Obviously not everyone answer will be the same but it will give you a template to follow.
Interview Question- “Tell me about Yourself”
Interview Answer- “My background to date has been centered around preparing myself to become the very best sales person. I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in biology. I am currently selling copiers and am ranked in the top 10% at Xerox Corporation Prior to that I was in retail sales management. Both my education and experience have prepared me well for this career. “
This is the most often asked question in interviews. You need to have a short
statement prepared in your mind. Limit it to work-related items .
Talk about things you have done and jobs you have held that relate to
the position you are interviewing for. It is best to be short and sweet with this answer. Your answer should be about 30 seconds long.
I am avalable for 1 on 1 mock interview/interviewing coaching sessions.
